Welcome to Camp Gan Israel in Sandy Springs, Georgia
Whether this is your first summer with us or your have been here before, we are delighted that you are joining us.
Camp Gan Israel is a place where children can experience first-hand the richness, excitement and warmth of Judaism in a lively and nurturing environment. The counselors and staff are eager to greet your children and there are many new and exciting programs and adventures planned for this year.
Camp Gan Israel is committed to providing a superb day camp experience for Jewish children. We offer outstanding athletic, sports and creative arts programs under the guidance of professional instructors who are all highly qualified in their fields.

Ages
Mini Izzy - 18 mo - 2years
Big Time Fun at Mini Izzy
Our Mini-izzy is designed for children from toddler - 4 yrs.
Under the supervision of our excellent staff, our campers have a great time with lots of indoor activities. Programs include music, movement, arts & crafts, baking ,and more!
Montessori Izzy - 3-4 years
Learn and Play
In addition to Camp Gan Izzy activities, Montessori Izzy campers get 2-hours of Montessori learning daily. In this program, children may choose from different activities, promoting independence. Activities include art, music, swimming, activities that develop motor skills.
Big Izzy - 5-7 years
Fun, interactive, educational activities and excurisions!

CIT - girls ages 12 - 14
Learn the Ropes
Our CIT program is a fun way to give teens the opportunity to learn about responsibility as they get training to be a counselor. We provide hands-on learning experiences for these young Counselors in Training.
Staff
Child development is the most significant ingredient in a healthy camp experience. This is why our staff is the real secret to our success. Our experienced counselors are known for their personal warmth and ability to care for each child as an individual. Many staff members return year after year, lending experience and continuity to all programs. Each counselor is a role model for our children, promising them friendship which will last forever! Their love for the children is surpassed only by the children’s love for them.
Culture
Gan Israel campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and a love for the land of Israel. Weekly Judaic themes are taught through exciting activities, stories, songs, games and contests, which are part of the unique Gan Israel experience.
